Because this game is going to be too damn awesome for me not to make a topic about, even if I am only going to have a grand total of two replies. Our hero Kazuma Kiryu returns in the third installment (Actually fourth, but the samurai one isn't actually the third one, despite what my sig says!) of the series for the Playstation 3. Returning back to modern Tokyo, Kazuma is out on in the search of someone who looks exactly like Fuma, the man who raised him and fighting off the CIA to uncover the truth as well as a new group of gangsters hunting him down.
The Yakuza series is pretty much SEGA's new Streets of Rage, made more brutal, added a entire city and a pretty in depth plot (Not to mention combat system) plus a bunch of sidemissions and minigames, if I had to summarize it though, it's Shenmue meets Streets of Rage, only with a character who kicks a whole lot more ass. Enough talk, watch the trailers and just witness how amazing this game truly looks. - Story trailer featuring the actors and the basically plotline to the game - Gameplay trailer featuring going around Tokyo, beating up thugs, playing golf and so much more. Yakuza comes complete with a bunch of sidemissions and minigames, ranging from making some random girl off the street the latest club queen, to playing golf, even singing karaoke (Like a real man) this time round. Kazuma learns new moves now by watching random events off the street and then texting them in his mobile phone to memorize the move. Wait, what? You don't believe me?!? ![]() See! Further images of the beating you can give the baddies this time round. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So now, please go buy Yakuza 2 on the PS2 please, let SEGA know you care! Yakuza is too much of a awesome series not to be a million seller =(

Bit of an update on this, i've been reading around net that lately, Sega are thinking of not releasing this over here and in the USA. Frankly, if they don't they're morons. The previous two were absolute quality, and to release two thirds of a story and then not release the final bit (presuming the series is a trilogy) is a bit of a slap in the face really. Mind you this wouldn't have happened if SEGA actually advertised something for once.
